MVP Clubhouse

Chet Henicle brings with him 25 years of college football coaching experience to MVP Clubhouse.

He has had coaching stints at three different Division II universities, Lenoir-Rhyne University (NC), Wingate University (NC), and Bloomsburg University (PA). He spent 23 years coaching the defensive backs along with spending 8 years as a defensive coordinator. During his latest stint, at Bloomsburg, he helped guide the Huskies to a 137-49 overall record and 7 NCAA Playoff Appearances while mentoring 22 All-Conference defensive backs.

A 1995 Bloomsburg University graduate, Henicle was an All-American in both football and baseball. During his career, he was recognized as the school’s Undergraduate and Senior Male Athlete of the Year. He was inducted into the Bloomsburg University Athletic Hall of Fame in the fall of 2009.

As safety on the Bloomsburg football team, Henicle was named the team’s overall MVP and defensive MVP along with garnering All-Region and All-PSAC honors twice. As a junior, he finished second in the nation in interceptions. As a senior, he was named an All-American and was chosen to play in the Snow Bowl-the top Division II all-star game in the country.
